Tshegofatso Mabasa

FORWARD

The Free State-born striker’s natural goal-scoring instincts were already apparent when he rose to the ranks at Bloemfontein Celtic, eventually making his professional debut shortly after his 18th birthday. His exploits in the 2018/19 season earned him a dream move to Orlando Pirates, where he announced his arrival with a brace in his first league start.

Mabasa’s spell at the Buccaneers featured a couple of loan stints away from the Club before a sensational return in 2024, where he continued to bang in the goals on his way to earning the league’s Golden Boot.

He has remained a key influence up front, chipping in with a number of crucial goals to place his name among the club’s top goal scorers in the PSL era.
