The Orlando Police Retiree’s Association is devoted to all the wonderful men and women, both civilian and sworn, who have served the Orlando Police Department. This association was created to keep them close to the OPD family and give them opportunities to contribute to its future.

MUST READ – COMMUNITY POLICING IN REEVES TERRACE
Don’t miss reading this wonderful historic narrative of the success and benefits of Community Policing. This story and photo history by Angel “Louie” Rodriguez describes his efforts and success stories working in the Reeves Terrace area in the 1980’s and beyond. The effort was to keep the youth in that community busy with positive activities. An additional goal was to prevent criminal activity and to build a positive relationship between the police department and that community.
